Sometimes, just start.
...like this post.
I’ve been meaning to start writing notes for The Vault, but I kept putting it off. Waiting for the right time to right, you know?
Well the right time seems to be a Sunday evening, while I’m in bed. Because the “perfect time doesn’t exist”, right?
I mean...
Sometimes, I feel like we say this more than we believe it. We try to act like we aren’t waiting for “the right time” as we excuse ourselves into getting more time to find that moment.
Until we reach a fork road with two options: “start now” or “never start”.
Never starting looks like slowly letting that idea fade. Not opening your plans as much. Talking about it less until it’s something someone else brings up like,
“Hey, remember that blog you wanted to start? What happened?”
And you say, “Oh, yeah! That.” You chuckle awkwardly and swat the idea away. “It just didn’t work out, you know?”
I’m not interested in having that conversation with anyone, so here we go. Post 1, done.
Now, it’s your turn.
